Step back in time at Da Lat Railway Station, a stunning example of French colonial architecture and one of the oldest railway stations in Vietnam. Designed by French architects Moncet and Reveron, the station was intended to connect Da Lat with the coastal city of Thap Cham. However, due to various historical events and the development of other transportation methods, the railway line was eventually abandoned. Today, a short section of the track has been restored for tourist trains, offering a scenic ride to the nearby village of Trai Mat. Visitors to Da Lat Railway Station can admire the station's unique architecture, explore the vintage locomotives and carriages on display, and take a ride on the tourist train to Trai Mat. The train journey offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and provides an opportunity to visit the Linh Phuoc Pagoda, a colorful and intricately decorated temple in Trai Mat.
